Originally I booked a ticket two weeks ago to watch Lee Cronin’s The Mummy in Georgetown at 9:45pm in the Dolby Atmos format. With the thirty-minute trailers, 2+ hour runtime and taking the metro back home, I’d get back home around 2am.
I checked the AMC app and saw they had an earlier showing at the Hoffman AMC in Alexandria at 7:30pm in Dolby Atmos.
Doing that was great; I got back home around the time the 9:45pm showing would have started had I gone to Georgetown to watch it.
Watching horror past 10pm hits harder, but unfortunately, I have work tomorrow.
