The Shelf APP

You ever have a problem where you want to keep up to date with what you’re friends are reading, listening and watching to but you use different apps?

Several months ago, I discovered this app called Shelf. It’s a social app that links the streaming and social media services you use and displays everything you’re listening to to your followers.

If you use Apple Music but your friend streams on Spotify, it’s not a problem anymore.

Other apps it lets your connect to are:

• Kindle
• Letterboxd
• Crunchyroll
• Goodreads
• Disney+
• Prime Video
• Netflix

I like this concept but as you can see, they only connect to the really big apps and not Hulu, Soundcloud, Criterion Channel, Story Graph (Goodreads alternative).

But what I like about it is I can see what friends are visually consuming without having to download another app.

This app has got potential and will share my profile link to some of my friends and see what they think of it as well.
